About Sophia

Hello! My name is Sophia. I am a law student at the Federal Fluminense University (UFF), with a background in Library Science and Information Science, and I work as a scientific researcher (FAPERJ/PIBIC-CNPq) in the areas of Law, Memory, and Oral History. My routine with academic research and corporate documentation demands a rigorous command of language, critical reading, and high-level writing. I have extensive experience with fluent English, working with translation, text editing, and language teaching for students of different profiles and levels of knowledge.

About the lesson

Methodology focused on autonomy, natural fluency, and efficient communication. My classes are geared towards students and professionals of all levels who seek to master English or Portuguese in a practical, structured way, without rote memorization. We will adapt the content 100% to your objectives: Conversation Classes: Guided practice on everyday topics, culture, academic or corporate environments. The focus is on unlocking your speaking skills, improving your pronunciation, and expanding your vocabulary fluently. Writing & Editing: Development of academic, professional, or creative writing. We learn text structuring, cohesion, applied grammar, and style. Translation & Editing: Technical guidance for translating articles, documents, academic abstracts, and professional texts. Academic and Legal English (Optional): Support focused on reading scientific articles, preparing presentations, and specific terminology for students and professionals.
