About Emilia

I’m ambitious, curious and adventurous, with a love for travel, languages and people. I am a passionate teacher and learner, constantly seeing new experiences and challenges, always excited to be exposed to new cultures and ways of life. I want to be a productive member of the society and I do so by being an educator. Education brings opportunity and prosperity, and being a part of that teaching community is an enriching and fulfilling experience.

In my free time I collect old cameras, vinyl records and books, take long walks, swim and play chess. I love Argentine rock, Russian poetry, Spanish cinema, Italian beer, Polish strawberries and British comedies. I have a black cat, an old record player and a corny collection of magnets. I like to send and receive postcards, visit museums and watch sunsets on the beach.

About the lesson

Teacher, tutor and translator. Native speaker of British English and Polish. Fluent speaker of Spanish and Russian. I teach English, help with homework, proofread essays, translate, interpret and help with exam preparation.

I have been teaching English for more than five years, both privately and in schools. I have worked with students of all ages, nationalities and levels, and I have quickly learned to take an individualised approach to my teaching. My classes are adapted to the needs and demands of the learner. Whether it be grammar classes, conversation classes, exam preparation or learning English from scratch, I provide everybody with lots of different avenues of learning English and I put a lot of effort into making each and every single class as useful, interesting and enjoyable as possible. I bring into the classes an upbeat, positive attitude, strong support and a diverse teaching material. I create an environment which can maximise your creativity, motivate you to learn and allows you to reach you potential. Language learning should never feel like a chore and should always be a fun and enriching experience.
