About Elisa
I have a Degree In Modern Languages (English and German) from The University of Turin, in Italy, where I was born. I have strong experience of tutoring Secondary-school students in Italian, English, Latin especially. I have also taught Italian in a Primary School in Ireland for a Year and have recently volunteered with the Beanstalk charity to improve children's reading and literacy skills. I have successful experience of tutoring children for the 11+ examination. My professional experience is in translation and the digital humanities.

My teaching method is flexible and sympathetic. When I teach, I usually obtain good results and progress, whether I am helping a 6-year old with reading, or a University student with text analysis or critical theory. I always approach a lesson involving the student/s as much as possible, so they can expect to be a very active part of the class. I am naturally communicative and surprisingly patient when I teach. For me, there is no question that should be left unanswered and I would always go to extreme lengths to clarify issues and make sure my students understand what they are learning. Because I am a passionate scholar, I believe I can communicate that passion to my students, who come to enjoy the subject and sometimes learning in general beyond the specifics of what they are being taught. I am rigorous when it comes to learning methods, as I think this is the best was to achieve the wanted results.
