About Ghislain

Graduated from a bachelor's degree in English-speaking cultures and a master's degree in teaching English, I have been teaching for the French Educational System for two years, before devoting myself fully to private lessons.

I have also lived for a year in the United Kingdom as a French language assistant in a private school (Oundle School), where I used to work a lot with students of 1ère / Terminale equivalence. This allowed me to discover a whole different school system (subjects, diplomas, teaching time) and to travel across the country to explore its different cultures.

About the lesson

Thanks to my different experiences, I have been able to test and sort out various working methods in order to obtain the best possible results.

I consider oral communication as the center stage of my teaching - with one or with a small group of students - to create interaction and develop fluency in my students. Making you comfortable and developing your confidence in speaking English are my priorities!

I work with many varied mediums such as cinema, music, TV series as well as literature or newspaper articles in order to offer interactive teaching and to best meet everyone's needs. Feel free to come up with ideas for a conversation or a topic we could work on!
