About Lucas
I am a pastor/teacher who loves to serve others as they strive to gain the necessary skills to fulfill their ambitions. I have been teaching in a homeschooling ministry for over 5 years now and have provided instruction for in-class students. The ages that I have taught are between the 3rd and 6th grades. We follow a classical approach where students are grouped by grades into one classroom. I have been able to teach multiple subjects to multiple ages at one time. This has allowed me to gain the experience needed to quickly adjust a lesson to the needs of individual students without losing the others. I am currently working on a seminary level degree that focuses on helping others and being able to write clearly and effectively.

I have a B.S. in Biblical Studies from Moody Bible Institute, Chicago, IL. It is a pastoral prep degree that focused on communication. I typically teach students between 3rd-6th grades. As a pastor, it is important for me to know the people that I regularly speak to. My teaching approach is rooted in knowing the needs of my students and working to develop them with their goals in mind. Progress is essential in any learning environment, so I want to provide feedback often to ensure my students are making worthy strides in their learning.
