About the lesson
My method usually begins by analyzing the strengths and struggles of each student by giving them exercises I create or from school work they already have on hand. Then I come up with a teaching style and format based on what each individual student's needs are. If a student is a great with formatting but struggles with creativity and having their own voice, I would spend each session learning about different creative styles (poetry, story telling, etc.) to work on self expression.

I'm Saarah! I currently tutor online via zoom for a non profit where I work with students from middle and high school. I recently graduated with my Bachelors in English from John Jay College of Criminal Justice where I also had the opportunity to work on a creative non fiction writing podcast. Other than that, I have experience tutoring college students in easy writing.
