About Melissa
My name is Melissa and I look forward to everyone who wants to take advantage of my offer.
I grew up in the US and am an English native speaker. I graduated from elementary, middle, and high school (through 9th grade) in the United States. I am currently in the 13th grade and am aiming for my Abitur. My grades were / are always in the very good range and since I've been in Hamburg I've always got 15 points (E1 +) in English in all areas.
I love the English language and would like to help you find your passion for it as well. I am reliable and motivated and I am sure that together wecan have a lot of fun whilst learning. It is my goal that with my help you can find joy in reading, writing and speaking English.

My lessons would be adapted to the individual needs of the student. I would prepare material for each lesson that includes, among other things:
-bringing texts to practice reading and test understanding of the text
-design exams and solutions plus give feedback
-vocabulary tests
listening comprehension and practice mediations (german to english and vice versa)
-Grammar worksheets
(And of course speaking English intensively together)
In addition, I will work on the material that the student brings and go through it together (such as homework or classwork from school).
My lessons are aimed at grades 1 through 13. Priority will be given to filling gaps in the material and making it easier to use the English language.
Lessons max. 2x a week and lessons are appointment based and not spontaneously.
