About Sarah
I am an experienced English tutor and have worked in China, Vietnam and have been teaching online for over two years. I am TEFL certified and have had the privilege to tutor students of any backgrounds and ages. I have also worked for a Chinese based recruiting company as a recruiter. I am a passionate, caring and adaptable teacher who understands that learning a first or second language isn't always easy but we can always make it fun!

My teaching method is simple, depending on the age or level of the student I adapt lessons to aid in the development of the current level. I always give clear cut instructions and ensure that students always know what they are supposed to be doing. Students are guided, nurtured and encouraged to use the vocabulary and sentence structures introduced at the beginning of the lesson through a variety of activities, songs, games and conversations, depending and adjusted to the age and level. Basically, I always encourage laughter, fun and a light-hearted approach to a lesson whereby students feel safe to make mistakes and take chances!
