About Silvia
I am an English and Italian teacher (ISL) working for a multinational operating in the field of language education, with schools all over the world. I graduated in Education Sciences at the University of Bologna and I have years of experience in the field of education, having worked in different fields/covered different positions, such as school tutor and English teacher both in companies (business English) and schools (from pre-school to high school). I've also spent time studying in France (Université Paris X) and in the United States (Vassar College, NY), experiences that led me to have a high command of English and French. During my university years, I also took part in pedagogical research projects abroad, in particular in Sweden and New York, to study the different educational approaches with pre-school children. Thanks to these experiences I have developed a pedagogical method able to adapt to the specific needs of adults and children, helping to find the method that best suits their needs.

My methodology is based on learning by doing, that is learning through action: the student is placed at the center of the learning process, in a context in which he will be led to put into practice what he has learned, even in the case of beginners. The lessons are held entirely in English, so as to allow the students, starting from the first lessons, to strengthen their expressive and comprehension skills.
