About Kayla
Hi! I’m a certified elementary teacher with 12 years of experience, currently teaching 4th grade. I hold a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education and a Master’s in Special Education.
I provide a supportive, structured environment where students can build skills and confidence. I tailor each session to meet individual needs, break concepts into clear steps, and help students feel successful and capable.

I specialize in helping students in grades 3–5 build strong skills in reading, writing, and math, while also boosting their confidence. I know how frustrating it can be when a child feels stuck or falls behind, and I’m passionate about making learning feel manageable (and even enjoyable!).
I also offer targeted MCAS prep, helping students feel prepared, confident, and less anxious going into testing.
In our sessions, I:
• Break down skills into simple, clear steps
• Use strategies that actually click for each child
• Build confidence alongside academic growth
• Keep lessons engaging and supportive
