About Emily

I completed the extended 150 hour TEFL qualification in 2019 and have since been tutoring online. I have experience teaching both adults and children and am able to cater to their different learning styles and needs. I have worked with an international language learning camp programme and am used to producing engaging content for a range of capabilities. I am also an experienced language learner, so am familiar with current teaching techniques and the different approaches to learning at English universities and international schools. I am from South East England and have a clear, typically British accent.

About the lesson

I base my classes on individual needs, assessing ability and understanding the goals of the student. The content tends to surround current and cultural events to promote the learning of functional English. The lessons aim to create a comfortable environment in which you can practise freely and improve your confidence whilst targeting areas for improvement through increasing understanding.
