About Kevin
I am a professional student who has mastered testing strategies. Along with personal experience excelling as a student, I perfected my teaching strategies while earning my masters in education and teaching high school science.
I love to look of the "Ah-Ha" moment when students really start to understand a concept. I know how deflating it can be to continually struggle in a subject. The feeling of success is the best, especially when students know how hard they worked to get there.
As a classroom teacher I got to work with many students and I developed curricula for the classes to help the most students. Howevever, where I really realized my strength was in office hours when I had the opportunity to individualize the lesson in a tutoring role. This is what I really enjoy, getting to know student interests and making topics tangible so they are unforgettable when it comes time for the big exam.
