I have always wanted to be a teacher ever since I was little. I chose Samford University because of their highly esteemed Education program. I begin the tutoring process with first getting to know the student and their immediate academic needs in which they need assistance with. I will ask the student/parents will voice any concerns they may have before I observe and provide help at the beginning of the first tutoring session. From there, I create a plan to help provide the maximum amount of success for the student. I provide tutoring help on a consistent basis, as consistency is important with learning.

I have worked with all types of students with various academic, social, and developmental needs. I am trained in Special Education Pre-K-6th grade, therefore I have worked with a variety of needs such as behavior, academic, developmental, and more. I stand by the fact that every student is different no matter their needs. Everyone learns different and it is crucial to help each student achieve success in their own way.
