About Xavier

Though I'm in the tech field, I don't try to be all things to all people. I'm a professional software developer by trade, and there's plenty going on in the field as to where I can pass on my very specialized knowledge to you.

My work is like living in a puzzle shop, and I'm excited for the thrill of solving each new puzzle that comes my way.

I've been mentoring on the job for several years.

Over 25 years as a professional software developer, mostly on Microsoft platform development (C# / VB) and Javascript.  I do console applications, web applications, REST/SOAP services.  Databases I've worked with include SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, Teradata, DB/2, and on the desktop side, there's SQLite, Access, and SQL Server CE.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Think of scenarios where you'll use what you're learning in practical fashion.  If you're not sure, it's okay, but it's something we should explore too.
