About Maxwell
I am extremely flexible when it comes to lesson planning. I am a patient, caring person who makes sure to understand the needs of the individual student while designing a lesson plan. I immensely enjoy watching the progress of my students. My students typically find my lesson planning and sessions to be enjoyable and worthwhile.
I love to see my students succeed and surpass levels they previously were at. I am thouroughly committed to the success of each individual.
I volunteered in my high school ACT prep course. Throughout college I worked as a Teaching Assistant and a Labratory Assistant.
I have tutored several different levels of students for the past 7 years. My students have ranged from middle school age to college. I most recently have been tutoring high school students in science courses as well as general college preparation.

Reviwing material they know and comparing it to the current syllabus in order to design an individualized lesson plan and study material that is relevant to the student's needs.
I have worked with students in grade levels K-8, High School and College.
Ensure that they are commited to meeting you where you at in terms of coursework and knowledge. It is important to set your own pace and allow the teacher to accomodate your level of learning.
I tutored a student who was failing high school chemistry and through our sessions was able to finish the course with a B+.

Details
I charge $25-35 an hour based on the needs of the student and the demands of preparing the materials for the session. Rates are based upon the learning level of the student and the difficulty of the material.
