About Curry
Certified teacher with experience in early childhood education, elementary education and middle school. I currently teach 6th grade Humanities (English and History), but my certification covers EC-6th. I received my degree in education from the University of South Carolina. After graduation, I tutored in a 4th grade classroom in San Antonio via an AmeriCorps program. I have been teaching in Dallas 5 years.
I absolutely love being an educator! I particularly love teaching Humanities. I find it so exciting to see a student dive into a great novel or learn about a fascinating period and history and watch them fall in love! I have enjoyed tutoring for the one-on-one or small group personalization.
