About James

As the oldest child of 21 kids in his extended family, Jimmy has been helping kids and teens understand their reading assignments and develop their writing abilities since he could read and write himself.

At the University of Florida Jimmy graduated magna cum laude with a degree in English. With 4 years of professional tutoring and essay reviewing experience Jimmy guarantees to help you or your child succeed in the classroom.

I always love connecting with students and helping them with whatever they're struggling with. It's so rewarding to see students go from absolutely dreading a class to them finding it managable or even exciting. Explaining the concepts often deepens my understanding of them in a challenging and fun way. I always plan on always having teaching or mentoring of some sort as some part of my career.
