About Josephine
Are you struggling with virtual classes? Are you stressing about cover letters or personal essays? Are you a fan of whimsical rhetorical questions?
Hello! I'm Josephine, and I became passionate about teaching when I started working as a mentor for low-income and first-generation students. In five years as an educator, I have taught at all grade levels, from elementary to undergraduate students!
As a writer and editor, my specialty subjects are creative and academic writing, with additional experience in copy editing, close reading, literature analysis, grammar, and standardized test prep (Reading & Writing).
As a tutor, I'm flexible and empathetic. Education is not one-size-fits-all, and I love working with students to figure out what works best for their unique learning style.
