About Shawn

78% people fail their English/IELTS/CELPIP exams. You know why that is?

We get thousands of requests every month asking the same question.

Well, there are a ton of things (AND IT'S NOT JUST GOOD ENGLISH!):

-complex vocab and sentences

-complex phrases

-structure and tone

-task response and clarity

-spelling and grammar

-ideas and coherence

-strategy AND SHORTCUTS!

If you are a first-time test taker, you may ignore all the above and be completely shocked like others when you fail!

That is exactly what happens with most, but not with our students!

We offer an IMPROVEMENT GUARANTEE OR MONEY BACK with our lessons (live classes - group or one-on-one). We are so confident in what we do that if you don't like what you see in the first few hours, just get a complete refund.

However, this is what happens with our students:

-They pass with more than expected marks!

-They become confident and clear about their examination expectations.

-They get a step-by-step guide on how to impress the examiners - THAT HAS WORKED FOR THOUSANDS OF STUDENTS BEFORE.

-They SPEND LESS and ace the exam in no time.

Moreover, they save thousands of $$$ in rebooking the exam after constant failures; not to mention the months of wasted time preparing aimlessly and the demotivation after repeated failures goes away completely!

The first thing my team does when meeting with a student is to get to know their learning strategies. Then we assess their knowledge of how much they know and we go from there.

Our team works with a broad range of students from children to adults [4 - 80 years of age].

Students should look at teachers who not only are highly qualified but also to see the kind of personality that they prefer. Connecting with your teacher is very important, but it is vital for students to get to know their tutor's teaching philosophy as well.

Our teachers have shared many stories and one of them had to do with one of their student's pronunciation improvements. The student was at a lower level in terms of their speaking, however, by the end of the program, they were able to speak fluently and clearly.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Students should ask questions that are related to the subject they need help with. They can ask questions such as:

- How long have you been teaching as an English teacher?

- What are ways can I improve in my learning?

- Are you flexible in terms of scheduling?

- Do you prefer online or in person sessions?

- What are you likes and dislikes?
