About Heather

I take the client's individual needs and strengths into consideration. We determine what the goals are together, and build a plan. I make sure to guide you in carryover and skills practiced when we are not working together. As a speech language pathologist since 2011, and a tutor since 2008, my tutoring style is always flexible and tailored to your student.

I love when my clients make progress and see that they have potential! Being aware of what your personal goal is, and then accomplishing that goal, opens up opportunities for the future. There is power in knowing that you can do it!

Master of Science, Communication Sciences & Disorders

Bachelor of Arts, English (Language Studies/Linguistics) and Special Education

Certified Autism Specialist

Over 15 years working in healthcare and education

About the lesson

We will discuss current study system, discuss strengths and weaknesses, discuss goals. I will help you come up with a plan to get maximum value for our time together.

Across the lifespan and across the vast spectrum of human experience, I have worked with amazing clients from ages 0-102! Most of my work currently is with elementary and middle school level students in both general education and special education.

Go with your gut! You should have a positive working relationship and feel comfortable asking questions. It is a good idea to find someone who will help you figure it out, but will not do it for you.

Heather did a great job connecting with my daughter in their online session. She responded really well to Heather’s enthusiasm and positivity. She made practicing reading and spelling fun. We aren’t fighting about homework in our house anymore. Worth the $$
