About Shelby
I've been tutoring younger kids here and there while I was in high school, but had to stop to adjust to the changes in college. I've been doing most of my work in the Trussville area. I graduated from Hewitt Trussville in the top 1% of my class with the advanced honors diploma. I am a full-time student at UAB studying Neuroscience. I received a full-tuition scholarship there. I was selected for the Duke Tip Talent Search program in the 7th grade and received the Presidential Award for making one of the highest college entry ACT scores at age 12. I've also completed many AP courses and was awarded 28 credit hours upon going to college.
I love helping people understand topics that make sense to me. By teaching others I get a sense of accomplishment and also keep myself learning and growing as I myself am still a student.
