About Arlene
I am a retired medical doctor, now specializing in tutoring medical professionals in English as a Second Language. I will be able to help you with medical terminology, pronunciation, grammar, and proper language to use in clinical settings. I am also an experienced medical editor and can help you prepare research papers for publication or live presentation.
I love tutoring English! It allows me to use my skills and experience to help others achieve their maximum potential. I also love the cultural exchange that occurs when meeting people from other countries.
I have been tutoring English as a Second Language since 2006, working with both children and adults.
I am a 2018 graduate of the International TEFL Academy in Chicago, IL, and have a TQUK Level 5 Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language. I am also a licensed osteopathic physician, board certified in internal medicine and addiction medicine, with 30 years of clinical experience.
