Experienced tutor in Guitar in Pittsburgh, Linda offers private lessons tailored to your needs.

She is very patient and describes the lessons very well. Highly recommend!

Linda has been wonderful. I am completely new to playing the piano as an adult. She works at a pace that suits me and explains the "language" of music in a way I can understand. She's so patient and kind.

Linda Mann of Playful Cat Music is a very good music instructor. She if flexible in her approach, knowledgeable and is easy to unnderstand.

Structured, informative, good combination of music theory and tunes. We're moving along with each lesson building on the previous lesson,

Linda, of Playful Cat Music, is a genius musician and a gifted teacher. She makes learning to play an instrument fun. She can play the piano, guitar, flute, and ukulele!. Linda taught my son how to play the acoustic guitar and to have an appreciation for the music he was learning to play. She wove music theory and history into each lesson. He learned to play the classics, blues, and rock. Linda is dedicated, kind, and easy going.

“Linda is a great teacher, She made it easy for me to learn the guitar. She took the time to review every piece of music with me. She would play the songs on her guitar and play a video of the band playing the song I was learning, so I could hear how it needed to sound. That helped so much!”

Linda is an experienced/knowledgeable musician/teacher who really cares about her students. She is patient and kind.

The value of a compassionate, knowledgeable teacher, who invites students to share in their own inspiration and skillful approach to playing music cannot be understated. I have taken music lessons with over a dozen different teachers in my life. While I am grateful for what I have learned from each of them, not all of them were skillful teachers. Professor Linda Mann’s gift for teaching, and her devotion to developing her students passion for playing music with skill and soul, are both impressive and rare.

Linda is very knowledgeable when it comes to music and is one of the nicest, most patient people I've ever worked with. You can tell that she truly loves what she does and wants to help you learn as well as become more proficient at whatever instrument it is you choose to pursue. Would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone, whether you're younger or older, a beginner or an expert, a music lover or just a casual music listener.

The instructor takes time and repeats when necessary for the lesson.

Everything! Linda is amazing, if I didn't get or understand something she worked with me until I did, never making me feel stupid, she has a true compassion for it and it shows in her teaching❤️
