About John Ammon

Hello!

My name is John, and I’m a passionate, experienced language tutor with a unique background in teaching English and other languages across diverse cultures. I spent three years teaching English in Japan and have also taught in Brazil. These experiences have equipped me with the skills and understanding to work effectively with students of all ages and backgrounds.

Fluent in English, Japanese, and Portuguese, I specialize in offering tailored tutoring sessions that meet your specific language-learning needs. My student-centered teaching approach ensures that you learn at your own pace and in a way that suits your goals and interests.

Beyond teaching, I have a deep love for music—I enjoy playing the guitar and singing. I often find that incorporating creative and engaging methods, like music, into lessons makes learning more enjoyable and effective.

Whether you’re looking to enhance your conversational skills, prepare for exams, or learn a new language just for fun, I’m here to support you every step of the way. Let’s make your language-learning journey rewarding, exciting, and tailored just for you!
