About Amy
I have always wanted to be a teacher!
I have taught for 27 years, I have four degrees including a PhD, I know my strengths and my weaknesses, and I will not take on more than I know I can help you with.

I like talking and finding out where they believe their strengths are; and where they feel they are struggling. Then I would like to give them a few questions based on their answers to see if I can pinpoint where we need to start working.
I have worked with students in Kindergarten through 12th grade; various cognitive levels and abilities.
Currently I am a middle school math teacher.
Be ready with your questions and then be ready to work. I am a very visual person, so I will make sure you understand before we move on, always have what you need ready!
I love hearing from my former students, hearing what they are doing, seeing pictures of them as they have grown up and started on their careers. My proudest, was when a former student invited me to her graduation where she had completed her educational degree. She told me it was because of me she became a teacher!
