About Audrey

I’m an architectural designer in the Boston / Cambrige area with a Master of Architecture and a passion for helping students build confidence in their abilities and grow academically. My experience includes teaching introductory college-level courses, working as a graduate teaching and learning assistant, and tutoring math at the high school level. K-12 material is my bread and butter for math material, whether its as simple as times tables and long division or up to algebra 2; I took up to calculus 1 for my degree and the only math class I ever disliked along the way was trig!

Through my education and professional experience in architecture and design, I’ve developed a strong foundation in math, visual and spatial reasoning, and design. I myself am a visual and tactile learner, so I use diagrams when necessary, create sketches, and use physical objects to help convey concepts! I especially enjoy breaking complex ideas into manageable steps and helping students discover that they are more than capable of learning and retaining new ideas. I haven't met a problem yet that can't be spliced and diced into manageable bites! My goal is to help cultivate confidence and hone the skills necessary to approach future challenges independently.
