About Carleigh
I was recommended by my college statistics professor for a tutoring job and ended up falling in love with it and kept the job for 2.5 years during college.
I have a bachelors degree in accounting and will complete my masters in May of 2020. I have been tutoring math since 2017 both in college and privately.

I would have the student/parent send me the assignments/concepts before hand so that I can review them prior to our meeting. During our first meeting I would get a better understanding of how the student learns and works best and tailor following sessions accordingly.
All ages from elementary through college. Also worked with students who have ADHD and autism.
Make sure youre comfortable with your tutor and be able to ask them to adjust the sessions based on how you learn best. Being honest about what you need from your tutor is the best way to have a good experience.
I recently had 2 students pass the math portion of their GED tests which were their final sections. They are both now certified high school graduates.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Utilize online resources first to see if you can learn/figure out problems that way and if not ask for more guidance.
