Experienced tutor in Mathematics in San Diego, Stephen offers private lessons tailored to your needs.

My understanding of Algebra has increased significantly as a result of my session with Stephen. He explained the formulas and properties in a clear and precise way so that I could retain the information.

Stephen, is quite courteous and accommodating. Very knowledgeable of the material covered. Our daughter said by the end of the lesson she was relieved and prepped for her test to help her get into her next level of math Algebra 2. We'll definitely be looking forward to working with him in the future. Mahalo Stephen.

Illustrated Graduate Record Exam (GRE) math concepts simply and superbly. Has reservoir of knowledge to not only help you solve, but understand problem solving process, while teaching helpful tips and hints along the way. Professional through and through!!

I am preparing to take the GRE and I am grateful to have Stephen as my tutor. It is clear by the way that he individualizes lessons and is quick to access his reservoir of math knowledge that he has extensive experience in teaching others and has an expert understanding of math concepts. The GRE is comprised of many math concepts and he has addressed questions all over the board with concision and clarity. With Stephen's help, I have greatly improved in my ability to recognize the necessary approach to take when given a stand-alone equation. Stephen deserves the utmost praise!

Stephen was very helpful and well-informed as a tutor for the GRE. He seemed very knowledgeable from the get-go and was able to answer all my cursory questions before we got into the "meat" of the lessons. Despite not being prepared for my session with him and my low pre-test score, he was not judgmental and was eager to help me.

Stephen had quick, easy to remember acronyms to help me in the math section. And had little tips to help me with test-taking. In the end, while I decided to postpone taking my test, I am still using the strategies he gave me to prepare myself for next year. Thanks Stephen!

I reached out to SparkEd Academy for help preparing for my GRE's and I couldn't be happier with my results! After taking my GRE diagnostic, I knew I needed targeted help in the quantitative section and a general review for the verbal. SparkEd was wonderful - great instructors with lots of experience and a smoothly run, education first business that still made scheduling (and re-scheduling appointments) and payment easy.

I worked with Stephen Park for quantitative tutoring and he truly lived up to his stellar reputation. Not only is Stephen expertly versed in all the concepts tested on the quantitative section of the GRE, his depth and breadth of experience in standardized testing allowed him to guide me on "how" to study for and approach the test as well. Being an average (at best) standardized test taker, this was incredibly valuable for me. Equally important, Stephen is a phenomenal teacher. His patience is boundless, and the depth of his teaching experience shows in his ability to explain concepts clearly and in as many different ways as it takes for students to understand. Thanks to Stephen's help, I was able to improve my GRE quantitative score by 7 points and gained admission to several top tier MBA programs. Thanks Stephen, without your help I wouldn't be attending Duke University's Fuqua School of Business on a merit scholarship this fall!

COLLEGE TEST PREP! When we were helping our daughter prepare for the ACT exam we did the expensive big name programs that are out there....unfortunately they didn't help her. We found Stephen through the internet and reviews and decided to have her work with him. It paid off because her score went up 3 points. He is very familiar with both the ACT and SAT....I know he takes the exams himself a few times a year. So he is very familiar with the content and has provided my daughter with some great strategies to maximize her time on the exam. You won't be disappointed!

My daughter has been tutoring with Stephen Park of SparkEd Academy for several months now for homework and math skills advancement and we love the results! There isn't a more diligent, responsible, and knowledgeable tutor out there, and we've tried several. SparkEd has our vote and highest recommendation.
