About Gabriela
Learning math is not as simple as memorizing formulas and applying them. Sometimes an extra set of eyes can help connect how math is done to how your individual brain processes problems. My style of tutoring is to take real-world objects or diagrams to help explain simple and complex math problems.
The best part about tutoring is about seeing the light click when a student understands the whole picture, not just the individual problem. Although grades are great and help measure understanding, my job is to help students understand because math builds on itself.
