About Jenny
I am a recent college graduate excited to help students with various Math subjects as well as Spanish. I can provide help with Basic Math, Pre Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, and Trigonometry. I studied math through Calculus and love helping others to understand and apply concepts. I am a visual learner so I love to draw pictures to represent problems and equations. I also can assist with Spanish. I studied Spanish for 5 years and studied abroad in Bolivia. My service stands out because I have experience with kids with disabilities. I work as a Behavioral Therapist for kids on the autism spectrum so I know how to work with kids who learn differently.
It has been a while since I have tutored but I have always worked in teaching in some capacity. When I was a tutor in high school and when I helped my peers with homework in college I loved being creative and coming up with different ways to explain a question or problem. My favorite part about tutoring is the moment that the student I am helping has the "aha" moment and the solution or concept clicks in their head.
