About Tyler

I am incredibly patient and understand that every child learns at a different pace, and sometimes doesn't always respond well to the generic teaching methods. I am always open to trying new things and the most important aspect is that after the lesson, they walk away loving what they learned.

Being able to provide the fundamentals of the sport and seeing the moment when a new drill or movement "clicks" makes it a very fulfilling job!

I started playing tennis when I was 10 years old and thought of it as recreational fun. In highschool I really fell in love with the sport & I amped it up, playing varsity all four years. I then went on to play two additional years in college before deciding to solely focus on my academic pursuits. I have a great passion for tennis and love passing that on to others.

English

I always begin my lessons by receiving a full background on the child's prior experience so I know what fundamental knowledge they have (or don't have), so I can properly assess where to start! I also know they every child learns differently. Some are more hands on and like to do drill after drill, and others like to verbally process the movements. I will make sure I teach each individual on a level that they respond best to.
