About Jenifer

Traditional karate for adults, teens, kids and families from the Mesa, Gilbert, Tempe, Chandler, AZ area. Our students learn and practice solid life protection skills that work. They learn to fight, but more importantly, they learn how not to fight. Our Dojo Kun values of moral character, honesty, perseverance, respect and restraint help build character. We walk the path of following, protecting, supporting and promoting these traditional values.

Kirk Gauger and Jenifer Tull- Gauger are a husband-and-wife team, each with a 6th degree black belt, known as Rokkudan, awarded by the United Ryukyu Kempo Alliance. Both of these Renshis have over 19 years of training, and their passion is watching students grow, improve and progress on their karate path. They both love helping students improve their lives through martial arts. (concealed information)

Our certified black belt instructors have gone through at least many years of training to get to that level, as well as ongoing training, which lends to their caring, professional, skilled teaching.

New students start with our Intro Program, which is $30 and gets them a week of classes. Students start in the regular classes where basic techniques are taught beginning with their first lesson.



Kids (age three and up) and adults of all levels and and walks of life.



Find a place of mutual respect where you feel comfortable and make sure the teachers focus on safety and that their values align with yours.



Our annual Spring Karate Camp: you can not beat the cameradierie, great training, meeting and training with martial artists from other states, yummy food and great weather!
