About Sumedha
As an essay tutor and journalist with five years of experience, I know that great writing and comprehension requires a mix of creativity, structure, and targeted practice.
For essays, if I had to condense my personal system, it would come down to drawing out the best, most resonant elements of personal stories or researched facts, sticking to diligent analysis, and heeding the importance of “showing, not telling.”
With regard to test prep, I specialize in helping students identify gaps and strengths within their own analysis, to identify precise test strategies.

Hi, I’m Sumedha! I offer high-impact, student-led lessons designed to identify your specific strengths and blind spots.
My Approach:
Textual Analysis: I focus on building familiarity with content, improving answer techniques, and mastering English test-taking strategies.
Essay Coaching: I help you find your unique voice. Using my experience in one-on-one tutoring, I help students structure well-reasoned, evocative essays that stand out.
The Lesson Structure: We start with a diagnostic to gauge your needs, move into targeted concept work, and end with skill practice.
Availability: Monday–Friday (Afternoons/Evenings); Saturday–Sunday (Mornings/Afternoons).
