About Prathigna
I’ve lived in Philadelphia, New York, and Madrid, and I love traveling, learning about different cultures, and meeting people from all over the world. I taught English in a bilingual high school in Madrid before moving back to NYC, and I spent 4 years working as a consultant and corporate marketing professional. These days, I’m writing my first novel and running The Writer’s Rehab, an international writers’ club. I’m a lifelong learner and genuinely love learning from other people, too. Oh, and I'm a cat mom to a very chatty tortie named Rumi :3

My approach is intuitive, personalized, and rooted in conversation. I pay attention to each student’s needs, challenges, interests, and confidence level, then shape our lessons around them. A typical lesson might involve conversation practice, reading, listening, vocabulary, or visual prompts, depending on what will help you engage with English most naturally.
What sets me apart is my background as a writer and lifelong student of the arts. I’ve spent 10+ years building my own literary practice and founded The Writer’s Rehab, where I help people reconnect with their creativity. I bring that same curiosity, openness, and encouragement into my English lessons.
My lessons are for A1–B2 learners, creatives, professionals, and anyone who wants to feel more confident expressing themselves in English.
