About Jimmy

I grew up in an immigrant Asian household as the eldest son. Early on, I had to teach my parents English and take care of my younger brother, who was diagnosed with Autism. Throughout my life, I was teaching, whether it was myself, my family members, or even my peers. Writing essays is a personal hobby that I am improving every day. Writing essays has been a form of self-expression that has helped me through a lot that I want to teach. Teaching and writing have been my passions, so if you choose me, you will have a teacher doing this out of passion and not just to make a quick buck.

About the lesson

- Who is my target audience?
Middle - High school students (6th - 12th). Who struggles with English and or scholarship essays.

-How will I be teaching?
I will teach primarily using a facilitator and demonstrator style. I will not just do your work but also allow you to grow and learn so that the next essay will be easier.

-What sets me apart?
As a first-generation American, I had to teach myself and my parents. English, not just as a language but an art form, has endless expression, so there is no definite answer. Instead, I will guide you on your personal writing style to make the process manageable and easier.
