About Scott
I am a highly experienced educator with a diverse background spanning various roles in the education sector. As a former JV baseball coach, I understand the importance of teamwork, dedication, and perseverance. My tenure as a special education teacher exposed me to a wide range of learning disabilities, equipping me with the knowledge and skills to address diverse student needs effectively.
During my time as a high school assistant principal, I worked closely with a large English learner population, further enhancing my ability to communicate and support students from diverse linguistic backgrounds. Currently, as a manager of special education at the district office, I oversee programs and services that ensure all students receive the support they require to succeed academically and socially.
My experience teaching Resource Support, which involved IEP writing and high school tutoring, honed my ability to deliver tailored instruction to students struggling with content comprehension and study skills. I am patient, encouraging, and possess a degree in communications, allowing me to effectively communicate complex ideas and concepts to students in an accessible manner.
