About Trey
I’ve been practicing ceramics for nearly 4 years. I got my start teaching at a local studio in Houston, where I worked as a studio tech developing glazes, helping fire and build kilns. Glazes and chemistry are fascinating to me and I’m frequently trying to experiment and learn fun new ways to expand my glaze palette. One specialty I’m continuing to explore is crystalline glaze which is both technically challenging and stunning!

I offer beginner and intermediate classes where we can explore throwing on the pottery wheel, trimming, finishing pieces and glazing and firing kilns. The typical process will be done over a month.
Explore an art and craft as old as humanity itself. Together we can find an area you’re passionate about and experiment with a variety of glazes, forms and techniques. Your curiosity and commitment are the only limitations!
