About Samantha

I am a passionate Psychology and Criminology teacher, I’ve worked in secondary schools and further education for 15 years and have developed a strong skill set in my subjects, helping my students to achieve outstanding results. I have two very young children myself and am currently on maternity leave but I am keen to keep teaching my favourite subjects. For me teaching is a huge part of my life and an absolute joy, I love to help students reach their goals and work towards their chosen future.

About the lesson

I am a friendly and dedicated psychology tutor, I offer online tuition on weekday evenings. I like to begin by working with you to get to grips with your strengths and areas of weakness in our first free session. Once this is established we would revisit material you have covered in your lessons to make sure you have a clear understanding, (I do provide worksheets and resources to support this and focus on meeting your unique learning needs and style) I put a particular emphasis on evaluation as this is an area most students struggle with and is vital to achieving well in exams, you would learn strong skills in this area. I do set some basic tasks in between sessions that help support our next lesson and I also mark and give feedback on your essays and exam papers during our sessions using my knowledge as an examiner. If you have questions about the sessions please contact me for further information.
