About Zach
I studied jazz drum set at the University of Miami's Frost School of Music for four years, gaining proficiency in not just jazz, but also in fusion and Latin styles (especially Cuban music). But, I truly developed myself as a player by playing multiple shows per week with indie and rock bands throughout all of South Florida. Since moving to New York, I have continued to exercise all the skills developed in Miami with the artists that I play for, in the off-Broadway and Broadway music scene, and in my session playing.

I'm a New York City based drummer that teaches topics including rock, jazz, latin styles, odd times, fusion, odd tuplets, and recording techniques in my studio in Manhattan or online. I teach all skill levels with a practical approach focused expanding your ability to learn and develop novel ideas.
