About Hugo

I am a student, I am 23 years old, and I have been passionate about music since I was 5 years old. I practice 3 instruments (drums, piano and guitar) but as my course indicates, my favorite and favorite instrument, of course, is the drums. I have been playing the drums for 16 years now. I started with a few years in the conservatory but I didn't like the school format too much, so I turned to a private teacher and it was the best decision I made! The fact of learning with a teacher who adapts, you learn much faster and above all you do what you want! Thus, I am inspired by the way of my teacher to transmit one of my passions. Afterwards, I can also explain my engineering studies to you, but hey... it's much less thrilling ;)

About the lesson

For a beginner, no drums are needed to start learning! rhythm is a feeling, a state of being, my goal is to take you to this feeling! Respect the times and learn simple basic rhythms to progress quickly.
For an intermediate student, nothing better than leaning towards the creativity of rhythms and learning the different tones that can be had in drums. The goal? Allow the student to create simple rhythms to create artistic satisfaction.
For an advanced student, the challenge is to open up to advanced techniques that require work and rigour, in particular musical openness to genres such as jazz or blues that require advanced mastery of the instrument!
In any case, whatever your level, the goal in my classes is to have fun!
