About Yi
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Chinese Language and Literature from China and hold a TEFL International English Teacher's Certificate. I have helped students from different cultural backgrounds to successfully master the Chinese language, and many of them have successfully passed the HSK exam through my guidance. As a teacher, I understand that trust and professionalism are the keys to successful teaching. Therefore, I always endeavour to provide well-structured, informative and challenging lessons to help students improve their Chinese language skills in a relaxed and enjoyable environment. I am passionate about teaching Chinese and always keep up to date with the latest pedagogical methods and educational psychology to ensure that my lessons are both practical and engaging.

As an enthusiastic Chinese teacher, I use interactive teaching methods to improve students' language skills through role-play, dialogue practice and real-time feedback. I believe that teaching through practical language usage scenarios can be more effective in stimulating students' interest in learning and their ability to use the language in real-life situations. Each lesson is 45 minutes long, which is ideal for fast-paced learning and ensures that students are able to absorb and practise their new knowledge within a tight timeframe. I am familiar with a wide range of teaching materials and methods, and I am able to adapt my programmes to the specific needs of my students. My courses are suitable for all levels, from beginners to advanced scholars. The content and difficulty of the lessons are individually adapted to the student's age (8+) and Chinese level.

My kids aren't really fluent in Chinese because he didn't grow up in China, but after attending Yi's classes, they have achieved more than we expected. Yi has always been gentle and patient with us, I believe that attending her classes will be a rewarding experience.
