About Sadaf
I have worked as a shadow teacher/counselor by taking home sessions and individual sessions to work on IEP goals. I have taught preschoolers focusing on early literacy and numeracy. I am a calm and compassionate person who likes to listen attentively to students and make it a proactive engagement session. My training in counseling helps me be an effective tutor who knows how to scaffold each learner based on their level of interest, learning levels, and support them in areas of weakness. I am a committed professional with clear and transparent communication skills that can enable a safe learning environment.

My lessons tap into different modalities of learning process through ‘Plan-Do-Review’ process. We will learn to read, write, listen and practice speaking English through various short activities and narrative building exercises. Learning a language opens up a new version of our personalities. We learn to think and articulate differently with a deeper understanding of how language can provide us the confidence to be a smart learner. Writing a convincing essay about your strengths and areas of needs is learnt by learning the skills and attitude towards language acquisition!
