About the lesson

I base my methods on the individual needs of my students. In general, I can provide anything from a structured review period to a 30-45 minute class. I am a casual person, which naturally results in my desire to communicate things for understanding rather than repetition. I can find many different ways to rephrase or re-explain grammatical, thematic, and cultural topics to better enhance a student's Latin comprehension.

About Brent

I was asked by my Latin professor to begin tutoring for Latin as soon as I finished the main grammar series. Shortly afterward, I was also asked by my Greek professor to do the same. Students who visit with me have expressed that they would not have continued with the language had they not held regular sessions with me, and their test scores and skill with the language continually increased as they stayed with the language. I have practical research experience in using Latin and Greek, as I have written several end-of-term papers, including one senior seminar project using both languages.
