About Giada

I have already had the opportunity to hold an Intermediate English course at a language school in Florence: being a free course, I was very satisfied because my students were all until the last lesson and I was thanked many times for the work that we did together. In Siena, the city where I was born and raised, I have given private repetitions of English since I was 18: I have been able to follow a bit 'all types of students, from elementary school to maturity. In all, I have followed a dozen students in these years. All my boys have successfully managed to improve their level of English (some even exponentially, eg from 4 to 7) and above all have acquired an effective and regular study method - something that unfortunately nowadays in schools they do not always teach.

About the lesson

Hello! I am Giada, I graduated from the High School for Linguistic Mediators (formerly School for Interpreters and Translators) and at the moment I am attending the first year of Master's Degree at the IULM University of Milan, with the Conference Interpretation address. I have been studying English in a systematic way for 13 years and in my university education I have chosen to focus on Oral Interpretation and Written Translation, two techniques that can open many paths for the future. I am available to give private lessons to students of all levels, from elementary schools to university; in particular, I can provide targeted lessons in English Grammar, Conversation in English, Translation from and into English, as well as targeted preparation for questions and homework in the classroom. My method of study is aimed at learning not only single words, verbal times or otherwise detached notions, but the correct way to use them. I often resort to simple memorized formulas, clear and precise examples, and many exercises. I usually also do some exercise at home, because I think it is very important and stimulating to practice the language as much as possible. The lesson takes place in a flexible way, depending also on your needs (Conversation, Vocabulary, Grammar, Translation), and is divided into a first theoretical part with subsequent practical application.
