About Shoshanna

My educational journey began with a specialization in Early Childhood Education during high school, where I honed my skills in creating lesson plans and teaching at a preschool three times a week.

Continuing my pursuit of knowledge, I enrolled at the University of Florida (UF). During my time at UF, I had the privilege of serving as the president of the dental honor society. Additionally, I took initiative by leading two dental and medical volunteer trips to underserved communities in Panama and Peru. My commitment to community service extends further with the establishment of a new UF pre-health society. I am deeply engaged in various community activities, finding joy in tutoring and volunteering.

Driven by a passion to make a positive impact, my life's goal is to become a dentist and transform lives. My aspiration is to contribute to the betterment of the world, one smile at a time. The field of dentistry captivates me because it embodies continuous learning; in dentistry, education is a lifelong journey.

I am thrilled at the prospect of contributing to the education and growth of my future students. Guiding them on their educational journey brings me great excitement, and I look forward to fostering their development!

About the lesson

I take pride in being a friendly, positive, and enthusiastic educator with a passion for ensuring that my students fully grasp the concepts I teach. My teaching style is characterized by clarity, ensuring that each student comprehensively understands the material. I excel in providing valuable advice and sharing effective tricks to help students remember complex topics.

In my most recent role, I collaborated with the Welsh government, virtually guiding students in Wales through the process of applying to American universities. Additionally, I serve as the president of the University of Florida's dental honor society, where I contribute to teaching college students the intricacies of applying to dental school.

Having dedicated four years to rigorous science courses in preparation for dental school, my knowledge is current and extensive in areas such as biology, chemistry, organic chemistry, and microbiology.

I am actively engaged in giving back to the community through volunteering at an underprivileged free tutoring program at a local Gainesville elementary school. Here, I offer support in math, reading, writing, and science. Furthermore, I am well-equipped to teach history, having completed Advanced Placement courses in US history, world history, and human geography during high school.

As I approach the completion of my health science degree at the University of Florida this May, I am excited about the opportunity to join the University at Buffalo dental school in August. With my coursework for dental school completed, I have a flexible schedule and am available at any hour of the day to assist and mentor students. I look forward to making a positive impact on your learning journey!
