About Pierre

A professional musician, Pierre Haché has been teaching private students for over 20 years. He began taking guitar lessons at the age of seven; did a music concentration at an Ottawa French-language high school for the arts where he played guitar, classical percussion and drums; and studied classical guitar at the University of Ottawa. He finished his music degree at Montreal’s Concordia University, specializing in Jazz Drum Set Performance. Since his graduation in 2008, he has worked consistently as a drummer in the Montreal music scene performing with a variety of jazz and pop projects. He teaches drums, guitar and ukulele and has developed and published teaching methods for these instruments, as well as musically-themed children’s books. Pierre is equally comfortable teaching in French or in English.

About the lesson

I want my students to have fun, improve steadily, and work on the music they love!

Learn everything from reading and rudiments to rocking out on your favorite songs! Let me help you unleash your creativity with or without drums.

I teach mostly virtually, based in Montreal.

Pierre has been teaching our daughter guitar and ukulele since 2020. He is an exceptional and talented instructor whose expertise and passion for music have greatly inspired her progress.

All of our sessions have been remote, and they have worked out wonderfully for us. His personalized approach has made learning enjoyable, and the results are evident in how our daughter has progressed from ukulele to guitar, continuously learning new techniques every week.

I highly recommend Pierre to anyone looking for an experienced, patient, passionate, and inspiring music teacher.

Pierre has been giving guitar lessons to members of our family for some time now, both myself as an adult and for my son (6 years old). Pierre is a patient and encouraging teacher who adapts to the learner's level and goals. He is kind, flexible, easy going but also meticulous in his teaching. A wonderful teacher who I wholeheartedly recommend!
