About Alysia
Hello! I am currently a first year student studying International Hospitality and Tourism Management at the University of Surrey. I have both tutored and have been tutored myself so I have a first hand understanding of the impact a tutor can have.
I teach based off the British Curriculum KS2-4, IGCSE.
Having had to sit multitudes of different entrance exams whether that be in the form of A-Levels or the 11+ examination, I am no stranger to exam technique and ticking exam boxes. I often find that it is not necessarily solely content that is proving difficult but ensuring that points are getting made in the right way.

My lessons are visual based with the use of diagrams where applicable to encourage understanding of more complex topics.
There is no strict format for lesson structures as I can adapt to suit the students preferred pace of learning.

I offer my first lesson free, consisting of a brief consultation to understand what you or your child is expecting and/or requires from me. This also helps me understand how to best teach and co-operate in a way to suit both you and your child. Finally, this also helps me draw up a plan of action.
