Teaching students how to read, write and speak English in a large and successful comprehensive classroom. Tailoring English teaching methods to suit the needs of individual students. Planning, preparing and delivering lessons to a range of English classes. Putting students first by demonstrating energy, vision and creativity. Helping students to define and work on their needs. Conducting up to 5 classes in one day. Recording and monitoring student’s attendance. Marking work and giving appropriate feedback. Devising and writing new curriculum materials. Preparing students for external examinations, such as GCSE. Managing students’ behaviour in the classroom and on premises. Administrating examinations. Preparing coursework for students and the class with great attention to all the diversity and cultural issues. Researching new topic areas and maintaining up-to-date subject knowledge. In addition, teaching vulnerable and challenging students.
