About Saumya

I am an engineering student at the Manipal Institute of Technology. I have been playing chess for the last 14 years and now represent Manipal University in Chess. I have been a chess Instructor for the last 3 months

Achievements:

-16th in South Zone Inter-university Chess team tournament 2019
-1st in Mumbai State Selection U-19
-2nd in MSSA U-17
-1st in Intercollege engineering online chess tournament held by Hyderabad Chess School 2020
-International FIDE Rating of 1475
-25th in Mumbai Mayor's Cup-C 2015
-Captain of MIT Chess team

About the lesson

Every chess master was once a beginner and it is my job to give a headstart to the master in making.
We will start from the very basic and then go through different phases of the game step by step.
The aim of these lessons will not just be to learn chess but to learn problem-solving, creative and strategic thinking, building patience, and pattern recognition.
These classes are perfect for anyone who is keen on learning chess be it a beginner or an amateur! (No prerequisites are needed)
