About Amanda
I am an artist, floral designer, and lifelong creative with a passion for helping others discover their own artistic abilities. I earned my BFA from Washburn University in 2011 and graduated from the Kansas School of Floral Design in 1999. My experience includes teaching art to learners of different ages, developing creative projects, and exploring the many ways we can express ourselves through art.
Flowers are a constant source of inspiration for me. I love growing them, drawing them, crafting them from paper and clay, and transforming them into beautiful, foam-free floral arrangements. I believe creativity is something everyone can develop, regardless of experience or skill level.
My teaching style is encouraging, patient, and hands-on. I enjoy helping students experiment, build confidence, learn new techniques, and discover what makes their work uniquely theirs. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to expand your existing skills, I want you to feel welcome, inspired, and excited to create!
